Busy Week

Paul and I often joke that when big events happen in our family, they come in multiples. After coming back from the beach with Matt and Tiffany, Paul and I went on the house search. Paul has signed to start in July at the Medical Center of Bowling Green, so we have had a great time searching for the perfect house for our family. Our main goal was finding a house in close proximity with the hospital. We are excited to announce that after 3 weeks of searching, we will be closing on a house on May 12th. The address is 15 Talbott Dr. Yeah!!! Now, we just need to sell our house in Louisville. Needless to say, we have been on the phone with Realtors and loan officers all week. To make things even more exciting, Evan was scheduled to have a circumcision revision and a meatomy on April the 2nd. The surgery lasted for an hour and went really well. It seemed like a miracle when as early as the day of surgery Evan was able to use the potty without help. He was so excited and at the same time a little confused and a little in pain. When we brought him home from the hospital he needed to go pee, but as soon as he started there was a burning sensation so he kept himself from peeing. He was in so much pain! We kept thinking it was from the surgery and stitches. We were doing everything we were told to do with medication. Finally, Evan decided that he needed to pee again. After he peed, he was much happier and in less pain. We were so relieved! The day after, you would have never known Evan had surgery. He was jumping, doing somersaults, rough housing. A completely different kid. We are still treating his stitches with Neosporin + pain. He still has a little burning after peeing, but over all he is doing really well. Thanks to all who prayed for Evan and have kept him in your thoughts.

On a lighter note, Paul and I will be celebrating our 8th anniversary on April 8th. I can't imagine life without him. He is the love of my life, and I stay amazed at him everyday. I am so proud of him! I love you Paul!
